SpeedyAds
*important update below
SpeedyAds ,the pay per click advertising agency owned by Entireweb of Sweden, present themselves as contextual advertising, and indeed when I first started to use them they seemed to be just that-it was almost like watching AdSense ads appear-change a few keywords the ads changed and were very specific in nature.I actually was under the impression that they were at that time somehow using Google as a feed-and their epc also seemed to support that theory.
This is not as improbable as it may sound.Despite the fact that SpeedyAds is owned by Entireweb, there is a very good chance that Entireweb feeds from Google-or did.
There are many smaller search companies that use feeds from “big boys”,for example Overture is the feed that Parked.com and many other domain parking services use, while those who park domains with GoDaddy are receiving ads feed by Google (at time of writing-these things change so if you read this and I am wrong consider the date.)
However, near the end of 2008 I started to noticed a change in the ads delivered,as well in the epc.I suspect that like many before them, they were dropped off of the Google feed they using as back up to their own ad sales, and thus are now using another feed of slightly less standing,or perhaps relying more on their own ad sales.
I admit this is only conjecture on my part and I am offering no prove,I never received a reply to that question-but for what ever the reason, they now deliver a wider range of ads and their average epc has dropped.I would have thought at first I was the one who was being given a poorer feed, but after polling many other publishers find it to be a complete reduction across the board.
No longer are the ads what I would call contextual, the are much more category based, covering a wider spectrum then true contextual ads. Also the average epc has dropped about 20%.While I am not pleased to see the lower epc,I am actually more pleased with the ads they deliver now-as I have always found contextual advertising to be stupid and costly-unless supplemented with other alternatives.
To put this bluntly so all understand-anyone who uses AdSense and only AdSense is being foolish-they are both losing money and endangering their ad accounts-all of which is explained on the Contextual Advertising and Contextual Plus articles.I do not say that as my opinion,I state it as a well documented and statistically proved fact.
Sorry,I regress-trying to teach others the folly of using only AdSense is a favorite passion of mine, and there are many who still hold to the old belief that Google does not allow alternatives to be displayed on the same page as them-thankfully that is no longer true. When they updated their Program Policy in January 2007 they made it possible for you to use even contextual ads beside them,as long as you did not let your other ads have the same look and color etc as your AdSense ads.Now back to our regularly schedule review:-)
SpeedyAds support:I have had hit and miss luck having support reply to me,but over all would score them “acceptable”,and when the matter was of the most importance their response time was 1st rate. Also in their favour they are PayPal friendly with a minimum payout which was recently lowered to $25.00 from the previous $50.00 mark they had when I first joined them.
No,I am not claiming credit for them lowering to $25.00,though I did contact them on the matter and explained the benefits of doing so,as I see them, and it was lowered a few days later-just a coincidence I am sure.
*I forgot to mention that in order to be paid you must request payment. When you have reached payout this option appears(see by clicking on “Revenue”)
You have reached the payout threshold.
You may now either withdraw earnings to your PayPal account or transfer funds to your SpeedyAds Advertiser account. To withdraw to PayPal, please use the form below.

Only display text ads feature
I will close with this-I use SpeedyAds,I find them a decent alternative and even though they do not have a referral program for me to earn from when you do,I would still recommend you Join SpeedyAds
