PLEASE-THIS AD IS FOR WESTERN*  TRAFFIC ONLY-PLEASE NO VISITS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES.

PeakClick.com is not for all sites.I consider myself fortunate to be able to showcase them here for you,and also with some reluctance. They have high standards of whom they will let publish for them, and I wish to maintain that trust.

I have a site that has PR and top placement in many SE’s;those without this advantage may not really benefit from using them and you should be aware of some things before applying to them.
Normally an Ad Agency I used and liked this long would have been given it’s own review page previously yet due to their restrictive policies on what traffic is acceptable I do not wish to bring to much attention to them.I fear that to many clicks by people from countries not served may lower my feed level again, thus the warning above, the information in those ads is only for Western Publishers and I ask others to not visit them.Of course Western* readers should not do so either unless the information is of real interest to you.

I use them only for their text ads such as those shown above(which I had to create the code for myself-with permission of course) and their search boxes but they are best known for their XML site feeds and image ads,for advance publishers only. They also have Search Portals for advanced feeds,as well as another for standard feed publishers.

During the time since I first joined PeakClick and now my opinion of them has flipped more then once. When I first joined them I did so on the basis of research and anecdotal evidence which all seem to point to an above average epc.
Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I saw I was paid less than one cent for an ad that others paid me 40 cents for.Naturally my opinion went from being excited to have them to believing them to be worthless and could not understand all the good things I had read.I dropped them after the first or second week, and never thought of them again for several months.

I again saw them on a few very prestigous sites and could not imagine them using them if they were getting the same results I had.Once again I activated their code on one lonely page and once again saw horrible results;however instead of quiting I decided to ask why I was paid so little.
That began a very useful dialogue from which, after several letters and even a phone call from the other side of the world with the owners it was decided that errors had been made by both parties and that I had been given the wrong feed level. This was mostly my own fault, for when I joined I passed over much of what they requested, and as such my account was given the bottom feed, the very worst pay level and ads possible.

Most if not all top paying companies have this policy;in some cases the difference in epc can be extreme, approximately 1/100.The bottom feed best ad may pay one cent, while the top feed pays $1.00(examples only to show ratio).
So who and what is PeakClick.com ? Well to quote them they are “the Internet’s leading innovative PPC Program” and while not that widely used in North America have been working out of Austria since 2004,making them old timers in “Net years”

Here is an example of an advanced feed Portal, much like what you see from someone domain parking page. You may also use them to create your own text ads,so you could make your article titles or other important headlines ads.

A keyword bid checker is also available to assist you with deciding what type of page you would like. Also aiding in this is their extensive yet easy to understand stats, including referring URLs,origin of countries and may other things that will help in any site promotions you may do.
Despite what I read in a few forums (very old posts) I have always found the support to be excellent ,and a huge bonus at the moment for North American Publishers is  that they will pay and bid in Euros,so that can be a large bonus-presently in the 40 range for US dollars and an beautiful 60% bonus range for Canadian dollars. It is that difference there that makes them so welcome on my pages.

They are of course PayPal friendly, though their payout of $100.00 is on the high side. They have a 3 tier referral program, starting at 5%,the 2% and of course 1%.I believe they would be much better off with a one level 10%,a much more modern way of doing things, less to administer and much more likely to have publishers looking for new recruits.IMNSHO.

This is not all  to say that they are perfect, they do have very serious faults,at least to this Oldtimers view.
To me it would seem that when they began in 2004 they had the best in scripts and codes, but that since then they have not changed a thing.Where others have moved into javascript and allow very easy editing of things, here everything must still be done the old manual way,and for some who do not have the experience with html and XML coding it can be a daunting task. That whole section of their website seems to me to be antiquated and in desperate need of modernizing.

However,if first you have a site with a large amount of SE traffic, that is mostly of Western* origin plus the patience to edit all the tags for every little thing then you may want to see what they have to offer. They even have a reseller feed available if you ever dream of starting your own ad agency and need a partner to provide ads until you gain enough of your own advertisers.I urge you though that when you apply you make it clear you are asking for Advanced feed only.

Perhaps even if you domain can not qualify for Advanced feed,it may be worthwhile to publish a few of their Portal feeds (found under “other tool’s your members page,if you have the right keywords they may pay just as well or better as many of the ones I see people using, and even as well or better then some of the ones I have under evaluation.
