FreeKii
FreeKii is to my pleasant surprise, something comparable to an iceberg;in that what you see on the surface is only a small fraction of what is there.
The first time I saw an ad by FreeKii I was far from impressed,as it seemed to me to be just another of what I call newbie fodder;a site set up to lure people to their Clickbank and other endeavors of the person starting the “advertising agency”.I have seen many of these come and go,almost all disappearing without paying publishers.Their script was a off the shelf type;that and a few other things gave me pause.
However since I fancy myself a reporter of sort, one who seeks the good and the bad, plus the fact they offered a signing bonus
I joined and slowly my prejudices drifted away. This was not just someone out to sell his own products, this was a true effort to be an alternative to Adsense.
Over time I found reason to make few contacts with support, and was answered in a very timely, professional and friendly manner. Then, out of the blue, when my earnings were only a few dollars-notice of a payment arrived,I had, with the signing bonus qualified for payout.
This put them,in my mind,in another category-they paid without asking, and kept their word.
Thus I began to explore using their ads past my normal one ad on one page which I use for review purposes, and placed them on a wider range of sites.
To start my epc was disappointing, but about what I expected from a small struggling firm trying to break into the PPC Industry. Also there were way to many “house ads” (“Your ad Here” types.) I thought they could do better if they had more publishers and so contacted them with a few thoughts I had.
That was one of the smartest moves I ever made, and is something I urge others to do-if you have a worry or a comment about your ad sources-contact them-they may just surprise you.If they give just canned replies and smart ass-”it is your fault” support replies then you most likely have AdBrite or AdSense.
One thing I discovered,is that they allow you to choose keywords, will even send you a list of what keywords they have advertisers bidding on,and give you those bids. This piece of news greatly increased my epc,and greatly lessened the number of “house ads”that were being shown.
You need to edit the code yourself, and your site still needs to be a decent one with proper traffic to receive the better bids, but it is well worth the effort.
I also discovered, from their FAQ page that they may be used, just as AlternateUrl is,in your AdSense code to replace PSA,which are non paying ads Google gives when their spyders are stumped.
Another interesting plus is their Affiliate Program, which basically is a way for you to make money from searches, but it deserves it’s own review later, space does not permit here.I do feel it something you should also look at when you join FreeKii as a publisher, advertiser or best of all, both.
As a Publisher you will receive an Industry high 76% share of revenue.
There is a $5.00 bonus available for publishers and a $5.00 credit for advertisers.
They are,as all should be,PayPal friendly with a low $10.00 minimum payout, paid monthly.I do believe there is also a cheque option available to any who may need that form of payments.
The one thing missing is a publisher referral reward system,so when I say I think you should give FreeKii a place in your ad rotations, you know I am sincere, for I am not being paid for you to do so.
To be fair though, when they pay 76% upfront,is that not better then others who pay 50% and 10% to the person who recruited you?
FreeKii is not the perfect answer, there are of course things about it I wish were better, but that is true of anywhere. However the adventurous attitude, friendly manner and willingness of support to discuss options and share information that others keep “inside”,add in their entrepreneurial spirit;all adds up to someone to watch for and a true AdSense Alternative.
I recommend you join and grow with them, use them a second or third ad source, but be sure to include the affiliate program ,there are some exciting opportunities planned-which I will review soon.
Good Luck and Good Fortune to You and Yours.
as always I invite your comments and questions
