“I was banned by Google,what can I do?”

“Google rejected my website,what can I do?”

I am not sure why,but those two questions are asked of me on a regular basis;you would think with the title of my site I would be the last one they would ask.I received three such requests yesterday,which prompted this post.I am very happy to help any ad publisher,and while this post is not full of startling new information-it is a place I can send those in the future who ask-and who knows-they may like something else they see.

If your Google AdSense account gets banned because of invalid activity, you can appeal to Google using this form. but read this post first..Being banned by Google can be very unsettling for some-they have lots of hopes and dreams tied to their AdSense account,and to hear that the money they so desperately wishing for,and often desperately needing was not to be sends many into an almost manic depression.Emails are flying-forums are being joined-they are desperate for help and hope-and that is when many write me-as a last hope perhaps.

For most the best advice I can give them is to forget AdSense,to instead learn the secrets of the many great alternative PPC advertising sites such as many listed in the above menu.Still,if I feel there is any hope at all of them perhaps getting reinstated by Google I do all I can to help and point then to the right places.There have been a few cases where some polite inquiries have got members reinstated,so depending I suppose on the severity of your infraction-if indeed you did break the rules-and be honest with them and most importantly yourself;a simple apology and promise of future behavior has worked for some.

In those cases where you are positive of your innocence then I advise the same polite approach-followed by ever indignant and forceful follow ups if the desired response is not forth coming.Surprisings as this may sound-it is the innocent who are most often doomed to fail in their quest for reinstatement.This is due to simple human nature-they are not going to admit to their stupidity and mistakes-and so if you did nothing wrong and persist on saying so they of course call you a liar.Confess to some small infraction might be a solution-though I myself would never do it.

I am reminded on the true story of convicted rapist and murderer David Milgaard who was three times offered parole if he simply confessed and asked for forgiveness-to prove he was rehabilitated.He refused,and it was only after 22 years and the advent of DNA evidence before he was finally released.

Not very relevant I know but it took up space and I like the story .

Truthfully,there are many people much better in a position to help my readers with this topic then I am-and so I will list a few of the best here-then I can just send letter writers to this page-and who knows;I may gain from their visit in one way or another.

This question is asked by many 1st time applicants to AdSense who receive a letter denying them based on the quality of their website.The days of joining Blogspot and copying an article about the latest buzzword no longer works.

This a is much easier question to answer then the first-simply get your site designed by my host Domain Sales/Design or at least make sure it meets all of the guidelines Google as set down-and this means you can not use Blogspot,even though they owned by Google.Avoid any free hosted site if you are wise,but if you do which to waste money by using a ‘free host’ make sure that you have control over the meta tags and can edit the template.

You must have a contact/privacy page,you must have a decent design,you must have an existing site for at least six months. There is much more,but it is printed elsewhere,no need for me to bore you with it here.
